Christmas 2009

Kendall made out like a bandit again this year...she now has a huge waterfall on her wall in her room along with the sounds to make it feel real. She got a ton of hoodie's and some books and stuff...I think that she enjoyed herself..

One triathalon down - how many more to go ??? Kendall did a bang up job and had a riot. After swimming, she of course wondered where Jeff was - he's a bit slower than her. Then came the biking and then, running. She ran part of it with Jeff, our neighbor Mitchell joined her for a while and then she finished it with her friend Allison. She is so fun to watch!

Kendall ran her 1st 5K last night with Jeff and did great! They are both ready to do another one. It was sponsered by Girls on the Run and not timed. There were about 800 girls running. (I think she did it in about 45 minutes). She's not sure if she likes swimming or running better now!

It has been awhile since I have added to Miss Things blog...so..next week Kendall will be running her first 5K with Girl on the Run. She is really looking forward to it. Jeff is going to run along with her so that she stays motivated. The girls are enjoying the warmer weather and are usually outside until bedtime every night. Kendall cannot wait to go to Africa and prays about it every night.
Tonight we decided to try something new and finish off Reese's ice cream birthday cake without using silverwear. It was hilarious and great fun - everyone should try it sometime!

Kendall smoked 'em all again at her swim meet this past weekend. During one relay, she finished her laps - she is always the last to swim in the relays - and looked around and couldn't figure out why everyone was still swimming or just diving in to start their last laps! The look was priceless! She has also found that she enjoys swimming the 200 yard race! She has so far pulled a 3rd and 2nd place in it. We always tell her to pull a Michael Phelps at the end...and she knows exactly what we mean :)

Kendall did absolutely incredible in her swim meet yesterday! Even people from the other team were cheering her on. One mom asked me if she was pulling a Michael Phelps? She pulled ahead in all three of her races at the end to get 3 first places! I couldn't have been more proud! So..as a "reward" we went and got our new puppy yesterday. Welcome Miss Lola.
